The rich colour of the barley caught my attention whilst driving through Norfolk UK, but rather try and capture the whole field I did a close-up showing the heads of the barley which were quite striking. |

This was taken late morning using sepia to enhance the old Clevedon Pier, Somerset, UK. Clevedon Pier was completed in 1869 and is still open today. It is an elegant pier but obviously strength was priority when it was built due to the tidal river of the Bristol Channel.
This image captures Clevedon Pier at its best when the tide is in and covering the pebbly beach. |
